Diamondback Brewing - Green Machine
 |
Yo. It's the Green Machine |
So this is the
Green Machine from
Diamondback Brewing Company in Baltimore. The first time I had this beer was at the
Fox’s Den in Annapolis. I’ve never seen it in cans before though - but it seems that quite a few shops in the Balt/Annapolis area recently got some; I’ve seen it a few places recently, so if you’re local here you may be able to grab some.

...And you should. I’m a big fan of this beer. While it is certainly hazy- it has a little bit of a piney bitterness that is reminiscent of IPAs of years past. Make no mistake, this is definitely a North East IPA, but it just reminds me a little bit of the OGs. It’s hoppy and juicy and piney.
I knew I wanted to crack into one of these tonight, especially now that we’re stuck at home social distancing- and I’m all about guilt-free beers, so earlier today I did a 30 min ride, got about 10 miles and burned 500 calories.

TROEGS - NUGGET NECTAR
It's that time of the year. Troegs Nugget Nectar is here. I look forward to this beer every year because in this age of sours and hazy IPAs, it's a reminder of what beer used to taste like. It's deep amber and well-balanced - it's malty but has some bitterness on the back end.
